A French-Finnish wedding invitation

When asked to design this wedding invitation I chose to steer away from stereotypes like hearts, rings and doves. Instead, I chose a typographic approach, taking advantage of the bilingual Finnish-French nature of the couple. The invitation ended up as an eight page brochure, with key words in both the couple’s native languages – Finnish and French – on either side of its spreads. (And yes, the colors are those of the tricolore. Vive la France, vive l’amour!)
